This training program is designed to provide users with a comprehensive understanding of the features, functionalities and uses of the TurnQuest Financial Management System (FMS). Participants will learn how to effectively use the the TurnQuest FMS system's financial modules to streamline accounting processes, manage budgets, handle transactions, generate financial reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This course focuses on empowering users to leverage the financial capabilities of the FMS systems for efficient financial management and reporting.
Course Objectives:
Understand the role and significance of an FMS system and familiarize with the financial modules and features of the TurnQuest FMS system, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budgeting.
Master the navigation of the TurnQuest FMS system's financial interface, including charts of accounts, financial statements, and transaction entry forms. Learn to efficiently record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and journal entries.
Understand fundamental accounting principles and standards incorporated into the TurnQuest FMS system and learn to apply double-entry accounting, accrual accounting, and other accounting concepts.
Learn to create and manage vendor accounts, process invoices, and track payments in the accounts payable module
Gain proficiency in creating budgets, allocating funds, and tracking budget vs. actual performance.
Utilize TurnQuest FMS system tools to generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Learn to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven financial decisions.
Understand tax calculations, deductions, and compliance requirements within the TurnQuest FMS system and learn to generate tax reports and ensure accurate tax filing and compliance.
Learn to manage fixed assets, track depreciation, and handle asset acquisitions and disposals within the TurnQuest FMS
